THE CONCEPT

The concept of the virtual tournament is based upon simplicity, as well as ease and speed of play with strong emphasis on tournament sponsor visibility. A key feature is the live leaderboard where a participant can see how they have placed in the competition versus their friends and all other participants. The excitement of a hole in one is also present and does occur with relative frequency.

HOW IT WORKS

The game is based on the concept of a lottery scratch off. Each participant will be presented with 18 individual holes to be played in sequence, with four options to choose from on each hole. Upon choosing one of the four options presented, their score for the hole will be revealed. That score will vary between an eagle and a triple bogey. Each participant’s total score will automatically tally as each hole is played, and will appear on the live leaderboard throughout and following their round of play.
